Free Places to Exercise in Huntsville

Staying healthy and active is something everyone should prioritize in their life. For many working out is a big part of their weekly, and sometimes everyday, routine, but the pricing of gyms, classes, and trainers can be a deterer for more people than it should be. If you’re putting off working out because of the prices or maybe you’re just in town visiting and want to keep up your routine, I’m here to tell you there are some great free options for getting out there and prioritizing your health!

Running and walking are both ways of exercising that you can do almost anywhere, but sometimes having a different scene than your neighborhood can be refreshing! Parks, greenways, and trails are a great place to exercise with and enjoy the view.

You can do other things at these outdoor areas beside utilizing their walkways. With the amount of green space and nature that Huntsville offers you can always take up some of this space for yourself and work out other muscles than just your legs. Yoga, pilates, and hiit routines can be modified to do anywhere and don’t always need a studio or weights. Head out to any of these spots below and get an all over workout while getting some fresh air and saving some money!
