Valentine’s Day is just around the corner – we have a few ideas to help when you are planning!
Reservation for Two
Feeling like a night out? Make a reservation for a romantic evening at a place like Char, Poppy & Parliament, or Tom Brown’s. You could also just enjoy drinks at Catacomb435, Stella Elixir Lounge, or Baker & Able.
Get Outdoors
Looking for an outdoor adventure? Check out our list of Greenways and Trails! There is a new greenway in South Huntsville you should add to your list. We also recommend a stroll through the Huntsville Botanical Garden – bonus they are hosting Dog Days!
Artistic Flair
The Huntsville Museum of Art is showing Encounters: John Cleaveland which is sure to impress. You could also set out on a public art hunt – use the Spaces App from Arts Huntsville to track down sculptures and murals.
Romance and Views
Find a spot to take in the scenery! BarVista has a great view of Big Spring Park – plus amazing drinks! You can also visit Burritt on the Mountain to see an amazing view of all of Huntsville and explore the historic park. We also have a great list – 10 free scenic views.
Coffee and Donuts
Early birds? Start with a coffee date at any of these amazing Coffee Stops then grab a donut at Big Foot Little Donuts. Bubby’s Diner should also be open around Valentine’s Day – if you want to try out the new breakfast spot.
Swapping Interests
Find something that interests you both and do a swap. Stop by Lowe Mill and swap local art. Grab books at Snail on the Wall and start reading! You could even grab some vibes by picking out a vinyl or two at Vertical House Records.
Sound of Love
Missing live music? Check out the schedules for places like Rhythm on Monroe, Stovehouse, or Mars Music Hall for some local lineups. Huntsville Music Calendar
Patio Dining
If the weather is nice, Huntsville has several patios that would make for a romantic night out. Check out Domaine South, Humphrey’s Bar and Grill, or Commerce Kitchen. Call ahead to see if you can reserve seating!
