Do your furry pups jump on your lap begging for a walk? Maybe a walk that you have been on hundreds of times, passing the same hydrant that has been smelled another hundred times? Well grab the leashes, collars & supplies and hop in the car because it is time for Dog Days at the Garden.
From January 2 – February 28, 2023 during garden hours weather permitting, you and your fluffy K9 companion can take a stroll through Huntsville’s beautiful botanical garden located at 4747 Bob Wallace Ave SW Huntsville, Al 35806. If you are a Member or frequent visitor of the Garden you should consider a $20 Paw Pass which covers your pal for the current season.
Here’s what you need to know:
- There is no requirement to pre-purchase or reserve daytime admission tickets in advance for Garden members or for guests. If you choose to purchase admission for you or your pet in advance, please click here.
- Before your visit, be sure to review visitor guidelines.
- Dogs must remain on a leash at all times.
- Bring water and waste bags, and remember to pick up after your pooch.
- No ruff-housing, please!

Humans: Free for Garden members or General Admission
Pooches: $4 each or $20 for a season Paw Pass (Available at the front desk only)
Reminder, you should plan to bring a water bottle & bowl for your pups, I would highly discourage drinking the pond water. I tried that once and got really strange looks…(JK). In addition to water please be a good steward and ensure doggie bags are in hand to keep the Garden clean from waste.
