You know it’s Spring in Huntsville when you smell the barbeque.
Grills are getting fired up all around your neighborhood and even in your own back yard.
Then again, us Southerners grill out year ‘round don’t we? It just really kicks up a notch when the weather warms up.
You know to follow your nose to downtown Huntsville when it’s WhistleStop weekend.
That’s this weekend – May 2-3, 2014, on the grounds of the Huntsville Depot.
The Business of Barbeque
WhistleStop 2014 proceeds benefit the EarlyWorks Family of Museums, so it’s a GREAT excuse to eat barbeque and see awesome bands. Tickets at the gate are $25 per day for adults and $5 for kids ages 3 – 8, payable by cash or check only. In addition to all of thatcompetitive grillin’ going on (they even have a kids division), check out the corn hole tournaments, great entertainment and, new this year, a Battle of the Bands.
