Hey Huntsville – did you know that April 7 is National Beer Day? NATIONAL BEER DAY!
To celebrate such an important day, we thought we would share some of our favorite places to drink beer.
#1 The Nook
With over 500 beers and one of the best patios in town, if you’ve never been to The Nook, remedy that immediately!
#2 The Thirsty Turtle
AYAT? We can’t tell you what that means, but visit The Thirsty Turtle regularly and you’ll be answering YBYSAIA! Not the largest beer selection in town, but big cold beers at a reasonable price and awesome food too. (Note: The Thirsty Turtle is a smoking establishment.)
#3 Pie in the Sky Pizzeria & Pub
Madison folks have lots of great places to drink beer, but Pie in the Sky is one to recommend. They have a great selection and regularly have tap takeovers with local breweries. April includes Blue Pants and Brew Stooges tap takeovers.
#4 Wish You Were Beer
With 26 beers on tap (most of which are glass or growler) and a huge selection of craft beer, you know that beer is serious business at this unique destination. Sit down to a glass of Brew Stooges Vanilla Knucklehead and then take home a 6-pack of Left Hand Nitro Milk Stout. Mmmmmm beer!
#5 Local Brewery Tap Room
Support our local craft breweries and tap rooms. Find a list of our local breweries here, and then show them all some love! It’s National Beer Day after all.

Great list, I like Below the Radar too.
That is a GREAT place and a great suggestion! Thank you.
