Believe it or not, there are still folks living in Huntsville that haven’t been to Panoply.
I know…..right?!
So consider this our 2016 version of “the time is now”. We are Panoply cheerleaders after all, and some of us are there WAY more than the average festival goer.

Why Go to Panoply – Ideas for All
EAT FOOD
Food trucks! They will be at Panoply for the first time this year. A natural fit, Panoply will have a Food Truck Row featuring Rollin Lobstah, The Food Truck and Dale’s Stuft.
This is in addition to the normal eats you find at the Arts Festival. Think carnival food!
There is a craft beer tent too. Lest you not forget to imbibe.
BUY ART
There is an amazing Art Marketplace at Panoply that lends itself to both impulse buys and serious art collecting. More exciting is that the the Art Marketplace is expanding and will feature more than 95 artists.
A FAMILY OUTING
Panoply is definitely kid-friendly and is a great way to spend time with the whole family exploring the interactive STEM activities, visiting the student art tent and seeing fun performances.
NOTE: Kids 12 and under get in free.
LIVE MUSIC
Panoply features 3 stages –
- Buffalo Rock Showcase Stage
- Publix Supermarkets Charities Center s
- Indie stage, featuring exclusively local bands
Bringing a couple of lawn chairs, hitting up the craft beer tent and settling in for an evening of entertainment is the way to go.
Acts include Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors, The Pollies, Unknown Lyric, the Army Material Command Band, and Hannah Thomas. There are SO many more. It’s a great weekend for live music (even if art is not your thing).
NOTE: Both Friday night & Saturday night end with fireworks!!
WEEKEND PASS
At this point, you might not be convinced that Panoply is right for you. Here’s the thing….for the first time ever, Panoply is offering a weekend pass. For $18, you can go with your significant other on Friday night or Saturday night for music and art (and beer!) and still meet the grandparents and bring the kids during the day on Saturday or Sunday.
Just want a day pass, those are available too for $10.
The truth is, we don’t have enough words in this blog post to convince you to head to Panoply in Huntsville. If none of the above has made a dent in your resolve, just know that it’s good people watching, beautiful time spent in Big Spring Park with your fellow Huntsvillians, and maybe you see a good band….all while supporting Arts Huntsville.
