Christmas is coming early at the Our Valley Events headquarters. And we need your help! Our Valley Events wants YOU to be a part of our 2014 Tinsel Trail Tree!

How You Can Help

In case you haven’t heard, we think Huntsville rocks! So our theme for our 2014 Tinsel Trail Tree is “Find Your Fun in Huntsville!”

So where do you come in?

Our tree is going to be all about Huntsville. YOUR Huntsville. So we need you to show us how YOU have fun in town!

In a word: PHOTOS. Lots and lots of photos.

How It Works:

Ready to get started? Here’s exactly what you need to do:

Take a photo of yourself
Post it to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram
Use the hashtag #OVEselfie somewhere in your post or tweet
Post your photos by November 20th

We’ll collect all your beautiful photos and transform them into the best looking decorations the Tinsel Trail has ever seen!

What We’re Looking For:

So what kind of photos are we looking for to decorate our tree?

In a word: FUN!

Photo Ideas:

Your favorite place to eat
An event you had a blast at
You favorite place to shop in town

And those are just a FEW ideas. Let your imagination run wild. Have fun, as we say!

Things to Remember

If you’re posting photos on your personal Facebook Page, we may not see them because of your privacy settings. And we WANT to see everyone’s photos! So here’s what you can do:

When you post your #OVEselfie photo, set the photo to public so we can see it. Not sure what we’re talking about? Here’s some help.

About the Tinsel Trail

The Tinsel Trail is a free display of live Christmas trees in downtown Huntsville’s Big Spring Park. This year’s Trail will run November 28, 2014 through January 4, 2015. And there are some seriously amazing surprises in store for this year. One hint: we’ll be sending in our tiniest reporter…
