1. Norman Rockwell: Behind the Camera @ Huntsville Museum of Art

“Norman Rockwell: Behind the Camera” is the first exhibition to delve deeply into Rockwell’s richly detailed study photographs, created by the artist as references for his iconic paintings. Museum admission applies.
2. Les Misérables presented by Broadway Theatre League
November 7 – 12
Cameron Mackintosh presents the new production of Les Misérables, direct from an acclaimed two-and-a-half-year return to Broadway. Tickets start at $50.
3. Galaxy of Lights – Walking Nights
November 10 – 14 & 17 – 21
Galaxy of Lights is a holiday light extravaganza featuring larger-than-life animated light displays. Members : Adults: $6, Children: $3, Dogs $1; Non-members: Adults: $7, Children: $4, Dogs $1

4. Lobsterfest!
November 11
Lobsterfest is St. Thomas Church’s annual community event that raises money for local and international charities. All profits go to charity. Lobsters, ribs, BBQ and brisket for eating in or taking out. Visit local artisans, silent auction, kids games, buy desserts and more!

5. Huntsville Veteran’s Day Parade
November 11
Huntsville will honor our country’s veterans with a grand parade at the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month. The parade route includes the Veterans Memorial on Monroe Street.
6. Skating in the Park
Opens November 17
There are many wonderful traditions in the Rocket City, but if you’re looking for a unique holiday experience, you’ll find it on the west lawn of the Huntsville Museum of Art. Ages 10+: $10; ages 9 and under: $5; $5 skate rental, $5 scooter rental.
7. Mayor’s Cup Tennis Match
November 19
Join Huntsville Mayor Tommy Battle and Madison Mayor Paul Finley on the court for an afternoon of fun and competition. All proceeds from the Mayor’s Cup benefit Susie’s Wish.

8. 24th Annual Thanksgiving Day Hike
November 23
Be prepared for your Thanksgiving feast by starting the morning off with a Monte Sano hike lead by Land Trust Board and Staff.

9. Tinsel Trail
Opens November 24
300 beautifully decorated trees in Big Spring Park. Trees are decorated by the community.
10. Santa’s Village
Opens November 24
All ages will delight in visiting the Claus’ house, meeting Santa’s reindeer, the North Pole elves, and Santa! Tickets $5 per person (children under one year old, free).
