Don’t be late! It’s finally here. Follow Alice down the rabbit hole to a wonderful garden adventure! It’s the Huntsville Botanical Garden’s Alice’s Garden of Wonder event, opening May 3, 2014.
It All Starts With a Rabbit
After a big opening day on Friday, May 2, bring lawn chairs and blankets to watch the movie Alice in Wonderland under the stars from 6:00 – 9:00 pm. Movie admission is $5 and includes popcorn. Then starting Saturday, May 3, don’t miss champion chain-saw artist Roark Phillips transform a tree stump into a 6′ tall rabbit. You can watch this amazing sculpture take shape right before your eyes throughout the weekend.
Butterflys!
To coincide with the arrival of Alice’s adventures, the Purdy Butterfly House is opening Saturday, May 3. A popular Garden attraction, the Butterfly House is home to around 2,000 butterflys.
