Some of you Huntsvillians may remember several months ago, when your Facebook and Twitter feeds were abuzz with pleas to “vote Huntsville” for #SoMeT13US. Well, in case you missed it, we won! And this week (November 6-8, 2013 specifically) is the 2013 Social Media Tourism Symposium.
Judy Ryals of the Huntsville/Madison County Convention and Visitors Bureau did a great job of recapping all the SoMeT13US excitement, so I’ll let you read her post.
What IS SoMeT? The Social Media Tourism Symposium is a conference all about social media in the tourism industry. In fact, it’s the premier conference for tourism professionals looking to share ideas, network and discover opportunities using social media. You can read more about SoMeT on their website.
