SNAP on Tap at Straight to Ale

Few things go together like cold beer and a furry friend. That’s why the Spay and Neuter Action Project (SNAP) and Huntsville’s own Straight to Ale Brewery are teaming up to host SNAP on Tap on October 12th.

For the Animals

This event is a fundraiser for SNAP, a non-profit and volunteer-run organization that operates in the Madison County area. The event will take place at Straight to Ale on Saturday, October 12th from 6-11, and will feature live music by Microwave Dave. There will also be a silent auction and a drawing for an iPad Mini. Plus Straight to Ale will be selling their beer at the event.

The iPad Mini drawing tickets are a $5 donation for one and a $20 donation for five, and can be purchased at the SNAP Thrift Shop and Goin’ to the Dogs Pet Supply & Dog Wash.

Tickets are $15 in advance, and $20 at the door. Tickets are available online through the SNAP on Tap website. (if you purchase tickets online, your name will be on a list at the door).

The Cause: SNAP

SNAP aims to reduce the amount of dogs and cats euthanized by providing fostering and permanent homes in the area. The Spay and Neuter Action Project also plans to cut down on abuse and neglect by partnering with local physicians to help fund surgeries and offer cheaper ways to spay and neuter pets for low-income families.

Funds raised through SNAP on Tap will go towards providing care for homeless cats and dogs, helping low income families pay for surgeries for their pets, and offering cheaper spay and neuter options for pet owners in North Alabama.
