Slide the City is coming to Huntsville this weekend.

If you haven’t been paying attention, that means a 1,000 foot slip and slide will be placed on Church Street in between the halves of Big Spring Park.
There are tickets to buy and different sliding options that you can read about here.
But what else is there besides turning the street into a giant waterslide? Well….actually a lot!
Party in the Park
1. Food
There will be food trucks and food vendors at Slide the City. Not to mention being a short walk from the Square. Get your foodie on before or after your slide (or instead of if you are a spectator).
2. Water Toys & Beach Balls
We have it on good authority that there will be water toys! Lost of water toys!
Curse will provide 250 beach balls too. So whether you are sliding or spectating, you are probably going to get wet.
3. Vendors
Plans are to have some cool vendors around this weekend. There will be a vendor row, so bring some spending money.
4. Buffalo Rock Music Stage
Music! If there’s going to be a party in Big Spring Park, there will be music. The bands playing this weekend are Wolves of Chernobyl, Dirt Circus and headliner’s Southern Halo.
Don’t forget your sunscreen!
