Get Crafty
Of course there will be the Artist Market on the Flying Monkey floor (2nd floor) from noon to 4pm. Every weekend I hear people say “I never realized all this was going on”, so if you haven’t come by on a Saturday afternoon, enjoy FREE air conditioning and lots of art to look at and buy!

There will also be a Rubber Stamp-Making Workshop at Green Pea Press on the first floor. It costs $50 And you’ll design, carve & print your own rubber stamps! Great for personalizing, bookmaking, card-making and more, this is a mess-free, chemical-free way to create your own prints. It goes from 1-4pm.

Dance, Dance, Dance
At 6pm in railroad car#2, (those are the metal buildings that run along the south side of the parking lot) come to the Moon Folk Festival! There’ll be music, a live performance and a potluck, so bring a favorite dish to share. Relax, listen to some fantastic tunes, hang with friends and donate to benefit the Flying Monkey Community Garden.

Finally, if you think you can dance, join in Glow South presents It’s Alive! dance party. Come even if you don’t think you can dance. All ages are welcome and the DJ provided by Glow South. $5 to get in.

Rock Out
If you’re in the mood to chill, check out Unknown Lyric, Jeremiah Turner on acoustic guitar and Kevin Grayson on violin,is a classical soul duo out of Atlanta, Ga. Enjoy a night of urban classical groove fusions in the Flying Monkey Arts theater on the 2nd floor of Lowe Mill at 8pm. Admission is $10.
