PorchFest in Five Points is back this May!
The first Saturday in May is one we permanently have “booked” on our calendar. PorchFest is a curated concert of amazing musical acts on the porches on Pratt Avenue. Judy Allison with Huntsville Music Scene and Purple19 has created a larger-than-life event for musicians and their fans!

May 6, 2023 5pm - 9pm
This year they will close Pratt Avenue (from Russell to Goldsmith) to allow for easier walking and conversing around the musical lineups. Spend the evening supporting artists, hanging with your friends, and listening to some of the best jams that Huntsville has to offer!
Bring a cooler, chairs, and picnic dinner – kick back and relax on Saturday, May 6. They will also have a few food trucks parked in various spots on side-streets just off Pratt and at Lewter Park: Hippea Camper, Mac n Snacks, Nomads Road Dogs, Beastmode and IceWorks, Piper & Leaf with their “Front Porch Tea.”
This event is free to attend, but merch will be available to purchase to help support the local nonprofit “Huntsville Music Scene.” The proceeds will fund grants and scholarships for local music collaborations. We can all get behind that!
PorchFest Parking
We suggest biking or walking, but if you drive, please park toward the neighborhood’s outer edges. Uber is a great way to travel without worrying about parking. TIP: If you plan to go to one of the after parties, you can park in the Clinton Avenue parking lot or the lot next to Rocket Republic and take a short uber to the lot at Harmony Sound on Wellman and Russell. It’s a short walk to the porches on Pratt Ave from there.
