Pop Up Parks was one of the first high profile projects from Downtown Huntsville, Inc. back in November of last year. The temporary parks that fill no more than a parking space were a big hit and the original weekend event was expanded a few more days.
This year, when it came time to plan Pop Up Parks, DHI decided to start earlier for better weather and leave them out for 10 days! That time is now.
Pop Up Parks are beautifying Downtown Huntsville at this very moment, and will remain through October 26, 2014.
NEW this year: The Pop Up Park Concerts featuring Seducing Alice, Saturday, October 18 & Saturday, October 25, 7 – 9 pm. These concerts are acoustic and will travel from park to park!
Pano Parks
Our Valley Events knew from the get-go that these parks were best shown off through a unique perspective. When I saw Randolph School’s Twitter (@randolphschool) post with a pano picture of their park, I knew that was the way to really showcase these temporary treasures!
