Mosquitos are so annoying!

You can absolutely have a mosquito-less oasis. Here are our tried-and-true ways to achieve backyard nirvana.
1. Remove Standing Water
Remove any standing water in and around your backyard. Mosquito babies can lurk in that bucket of rainwater sitting in the corner of your porch.
2. Pull Out the Fans
When having a backyard party, consider some oscillating fans or use your porch ceiling fan (if you have one). A gentle circulating breeze really can help!
3. Use Citronella
Those tiki torches can be useful for more than ambiance! Though there is a lot of debate on whether citronella does repel mosquitos, it doesn’t hurt to use it in addition to repellents you may wear or spray on your skin.
4. One-time Service Call
If you want to start with a one-time mosquito treatment to see how well it works, give it a try before your next gathering.
If you and your neighbors are buds, talk to everyone about a one-time service. The more backyards that can be treated in your immediate area, the better.
