Looking for a bit of grown-up fun? Check out these events, The Panoply Beer and Wine Garden and The Dating Game 2, that are perfect for an evening out sans the kiddos.
Panoply Beer and Wine Garden
Also in the adult-fun category happening this weekend is something completely different, as Monty Python would say. New to Panoply in 2013 is an extensive beer and wine garden. Sixteen-ounce beers including local craft beer from Below The Radar and Old Black Bear are offered. Other brews of note for sale include Terrapin Hopsecutioner IPA, Yuengling and Blue Moon.
For the ladies Cono Sur Sauvignon Blanc, August Kesseler Riesling and Bulletin Place Shiraz will be served. Beer and wine both ring in at a reasonable $6 a serving.
The Beer & Wine garden is located around the Thrasher Fountain on the west side of Big Spring Park. (You can download a map on The Arts Council website) Come by and choose one of 10 draft beers or 7 wines, and then stroll throughout the festival as you enjoy your beverage.

The Dating Game 2
Looking for love? Or just a barrel of laughs? The second installment of The Dating Game is certain to bring both. Slated for Tuesday, April 30 from 6-8 pm, the event is the brain-child of In The Loop Communications and Brix restaurant. Done in the style of the original game show, four exceptional pre-screened contestants are paired with a date from the audience through a series of blind questions and answers.
The inaugural event in February was attended by nearly 100 people. The best part: two bachelors featured in the show are currently dating women they met at the event. Whether you were a fan of the show, or not, you’ll want to see this romantic and fun live event. No matter your current status – single, dating, or married – gather your friends and be a part of this incredibly entertaining evening.

A twenty-something transplant from California, Cora is a beautiful blond with brains & brawn to match her looks. Her work as Social Media Director with the Ad4! agency group occupies her days. For fun she enjoys travel, surfing, and playing with her dalmatian dog.

Because of her occupation we are unable to release the real name of this 30-something bachelorette until the night of the event. We can, however, share a few details: this bouncy blond loves wine and recently traveled to Italy to indulge in the best vinos on the planet.

This Huntsville hottie works by day in animation and promotions for Delta Research. However, this former drummer with the Huntsville Symphony – who still plays with bands around town – has definitely got the hot rock-star guy thing going on. Born in 1969, he’s sure to charm you by playing the best classic rock tunes. Get ready to swoon ladies!
Jonathan
With movie star good looks Jonathan does double duty as a driven entrepreneur at Colormasters, and a senior student at UAH. In his free time you will find him skydiving, fishing, and traveling to any beach location.
Louis
Talk about a tall drink of water! This handsome personal trainer is 6’5″ and ripped. Not only does he bring strength and fitness to the table, he is also a savvy business owner having founded Good Life Body Camp. Trust us ladies he is very easy on the eyes and sure to melt your heart with a sweet personality to boot.
The Dating Game is on Tuesday, April 30. At 6 pm a cocktail and mingle hour will take place. The Game begins at 7 pm. Food will be provided, with two free drink tickets, and a full cash bar with special offerings of $2 beer, $4 glass of wine, and $5 martinis.
