The last weekend of April always brings The Arts Council’s Panoply Arts Festival to Big Spring Park in Downtown Huntsville for a weekend of art, music, and fun!
So mark you calendar, Panoply is April 24 – 26, 2015.
ABC’s of Panoply 2015
We had some fun with this alphabet list of Panoply highlights! We hope you enjoy it too.

Showcasing 85 artists from 11 states, the Art Marketplace at Panoply is one of the most popular features! Find it on Monroe Street over the bridge.
B: Big Spring Park
The location of Panoply and the perfect setting to showcase an arts festival.
C: Cash
Bring some! There is great art for purchase, wonderful festival food, craft beer and Panoply souvenirs. Cash is the fastest and easiest way to make your purchases.
D: Dance
In addition to art and music, enjoy performances and demonstrations of theatre and dance throughout the festival weekend.
E: Eats
A visit to Panoply is not complete without sampling the food. That’s part of the fun of any festival!

First Dibs ticket buyers get an opportunity to shop the marketplace before the general public arrives. Click here to purchase a First Dibs ticket.
G: Get Your Ticket Early
Tickets for Panoply this year are $10 per day at the gate. Purchase online early and they are only $7.50. That’s a 25% savings. Children 12 and under are free.
H: Hat & Sunscreen
Though it may inevitably rain, there will also be lots of sun and warm temps. Spending the day at an outdoor festival means hats & sunscreen. It’s just good advice.
I: Indigo Girls

J: Junior League of Huntsville
Did you know Panoply was created by the Junior League in partnership with The Arts Council. Read the history here.
K: Kids
Kids will have a blast at Panoply. Especially check out the Creative Playspace on the lawn behind the Huntsville Museum of Art.
L: Lawn Chairs & Blankets
Bring them. Panoply returns to open-air festival seating and bringing your own chairs or blankets is the best way to enjoy the performances.

In addition the the Indigo Girls, other musical acts include: Ashlyn Maine, Unknown Lyric, The Secret Sisters, Kush, Microwave Dave and Mambo Gris Gris and so many more!

S: STEAM Interactives
New and fun interactives this year, including making your own astronaut helmet from a paper bag.
T: Thirty-Three Years
The 33rd annual Panoply Arts Festival. If you haven’t been in a while, this is the year to come back and check out Panoply. You may be surprised!
U: Umbrella
There is a joke about it being guaranteed to rain the last weekend in April because it’s Panoply weekend. Fingers crossed that this year that weather trend is broken.
V: Volunteers
Panoply can’t work without community volunteers… 1,800 of them to be exact. A BIG thank you to all of those volunteers.
W: Wine & Craft Beer
This year, the beer & wine has moved to a new location near the Eternal Flame on Williams. It is now closer to the Festival Food Zone and within easy access to the 3 main stages.
X: X-tremely Proud
Panoply is proud to once again present Military Salute Night, Friday, April 24, featuring a performance by the U.S. Army Material Command Band. Admission is free to active duty military, Armed Forces reserves and their dependents.
Y: You
Whether you are a volunteer, Arts Council member, employee or festival-goer, Panoply wouldn’t exist without the efforts of this community. Thank you!
