They say that good things come to those who wait… But sometimes you just don’t have wait. Like this weekend’s Oktoberfest at Redstone Arsenal. I know what you’re thinking, Oktoberfest in September?! Like I said, when something is this good, why wait? And everyone is invited! This event is open to the public!

The Food and Drinks

I’ll start with the most important part: THE FOOD AND DRINKS! Because what Oktoberfest would be complete without out of this world German cuisine?

Festivial goers will chow down on authentic German food provided and you can wash it down with some of the finest German Beers. Beers that you won’t see anywhere else!

Music

After all that tasty food, you’ll probably wanna work off some calories. And you’re in luck! Terry Cavanagh and the Alpine Express will be providing LIVE music. So after your food settles, you can dance the night or day away.

Here’s when the band will be jamming:

• 9/14: 7pm-12am
• 9/15: 6pm-12am
• 9-16: 2-6pm

Family Fun

Besides busting a move on the dance, there’s plently of fun to be had. Fun for the whole family, so bring the kids this weekend![spacer size=”0″]

So when is all this fun taking place?? Not one day, not two days, but THREE! That’s right! You can head out Friday- Sunday!

Here are the dates and times the festival will be open:

• Friday, September 14th: 5pm-1am
• Saturday September 15th: 12pm-1am
• Sunday, September 16th: 1-8pm

Plus there’s FREE parking! You can get to the festival through Gate 10, Jordan Lane South.
