As the year is coming to an end, this is a good time to recap some of our most frequented restaurants.
If you’ve been following us for some time now, chances are you’ve seen these spots pop up here on Our Valley Events or on our Instagram page.
Make it your New Year’s Resolution to try these 6 restaurants:
Viet Cuisine
There’s just something so inviting about a warm, delicious bowl of pho on a cold winter night! Viet Cuisine always hits the spot, and their banh mi sandwiches make a great lunch or appetizer.
Address: 210 Jordan Ln NW, Huntsville, AL 35805
Bandito Burrito
Go here for the green sauce and green bean burrito! No, there aren’t green beans on it. There are several vegetarian options on the menu as well as the usual suspects like grande burritos or fish tacos. Pro tip: try the brownies.
Address: 3017 Governors Dr SW, Huntsville, AL 35801
Farm Burger
Farm Burger is one of those places that needs to be on your radar. We frequent this spot but very rarely eat the same thing, because we usually go with the daily combo which is always different. Go for the FB fries and maybe a milkshake if you’re really wanting to treat yourself.
Address: 930 Bob Wallace Ave SW #219, Huntsville, AL 35801
Chef Will
Thanks to Chef Will, Huntsville has a 100% vegetarian option at Lowe Mill. In a meat heavy city, this restaurant has brought healthy recipes that are also savory and delicious to people seeking these types of meals in addition to a new audience who might not have realized how great vegetarian food can be. This is a one man show on a new frontier of food for the city.
Address: 2211 Seminole Dr SW, Huntsville, AL 35805
Olde Towne Coffee
Our neighborhood coffee spot and staple in Five Points since 1998, Olde Towne Coffee has all the local charm you could want in a coffee shop. We love walking here for a morning cup of coffee or bagel and cream cheese. Another reason to love this spot: cats.
Address: 511 Pratt Ave NE, Huntsville, AL 35801
1892 East
1892 East is a great option for special occasions or brunch. They have a solid selection of craft beer as well as to-die-for desserts. We love the neighborhood vibe and sense of community when we dine here. Free mimosas with brunch don’t hurt either.
Address: 720 Pratt Ave NE, Huntsville, AL 35801
