Tips for Enjoying Panoply 2014 With Children
In addition to the good to know info above, here are few extra ideas for enjoying Panoply with small children.
-
Local Elementary School hallway. Stop at the gate and ask for a child’s wristband. Write your cell number on the inside of the wristband. In the event a child is lost, volunteers will check the child’s wristband for parent info.
- Look for QR codes at the Interactives. Scan for the STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, math) lesson behind each activity.
- Be prepared to get creative. The Interactives are make-and-take, so plan to leave with more then you came with.
- NEW this year is the Creative Playspace. The lawn behind the Huntsville Museum of Art will serve as an open play area for all ages with oversized lawn games and other playful activities.

Do veterans get to go in for free too or is it just for active duty?
This was for this past Friday night. The wording says “active duty military, armed forces reserves and their dependents”. I believe it applies only to those who are currently active or could be active (reserves). Thank you for asking!
