Brahan Spring Park- Home to the Everybody Can Play playground and splashpad, Brahan Spring Park also includes a recreation center and NEW natatorium for year-round swimming.
Dublin Memorial Park– A shining star in Madison, AL, Dublin Park’s 60 acres include indoor and outdoor pools, kids space playground, disc golf, recreational facility, tennis courts, and walking trails.
Sharon Johnston Park– Thanks to this 250 acre forested park, you can fish, swim in an olympic size swimming pool, and play soccer all in one afternoon.
Hiking Trails & Greenways
Land Trust of North Alabama– A member-supported non-profit dedicated to preservation, the Land Trust oversees several nature reserves and the Historic Three Caves site, backdrop to some of the coolest events in Huntsville.
Monte Sano State Park– Just 5 miles from downtown Huntsville, this 2,140 acre mountaintop retreat boasts 20 miles of hiking trails plus a playground, disc golf, hiking and mountain biking trails, scenic overlooks, picnic areas, rustic cottages, and modern campsites.
Madison County Nature Trail– A convenient escape from urban life, this 1.5 mile walking trail surrounds Sky Lake. It offers a park pavilion, chapel, picnic tables, covered bridge, and accessible restrooms.

Everybody Can Play Playground at Brahan Springs Park– When the temps hit 100 degrees, cool off in the splash pad at the Everybody Can Play Playground, where everyone- regardless of physical limitations- can play.
Terrame Natural Playground at Hays Nature Preserve– This 1 ¼ acre playground became the first Arbor Day Foundation certified Nature Explore Classroom in Alabama. Explore rocks, logs and bridges shaded by lots of trees.
