Huntsville New Year’s Eve Guide

Skating in the Park

Time: 10 am -1 am
Location: Big Spring Park, behind the Huntsville Museum of Art
Cost: $10 ages 9 & up, $5 ages 8 & under to skate and $5 to rent skates ($5 scooter rental)

About: A great way to spend the evening with your family!

TV & Movie Hits presented by Huntsville Symphony Orchestra

Time: 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm
Location: Mark C. Smith Concert Hall, Von Braun Center
Cost: Tickets are $25 – $71 depending on seat location

About: We’re tuning in and toasting to great orchestral music from screens big and small – blockbuster epics like Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, and Pirates of the Caribbean as well as nostalgic nods to classic television. Music is what makes the magic happen, and we have plenty of thrills and surprises in store for fans of all ages.

New Years Eve at HSV Times Square

Time: 7 pm – midnight
Location: Corner of Greene Street and Holmes Avenue
Cost: FREE

About: Celebrate New Years in beautiful Down Town Huntsville! FREE, family-friendly, street festival. We will have live bands, food trucks, a DJ, lighting shows, and a one of a kind countdown at midnight! Be there or be SQUARE!

New Year’s Eve Party and Piano Drop

Time: 7 pm – midnight
Location: A.M. Booth’s Lumberyard
Cost: $20 advance; $30 at the door

About: Bands will be performing in different areas simultaneously: Microwave Dave & The Nukes – Music Hall, Seminole Strut – The Veranda, Lamont Landers Band – The Kiln,  and Cool Bone Brass Band – On the Prowl all night long. Join us in the main courtyard where the piano will be dropped at midnight!
