Burritt on the Mountain Candlelight Christmas

Join us for a touch of Christmas past at Burritt on the Mountain’s annual favorite Candlelight Christmas. Burritt comes alive with the sights, sounds and smells of a traditional Christmas. Don’t wait, buy your tickets today.
String cranberries and popcorn, make paper punch ornaments, create handmade cards, ice cookies, taste figgy pudding and enjoy live music to kickoff the holiday season. Cabins are decorated with historic ambiance and the sounds of traditional music fill the air throughout the park. It is certainly an event for young and old to enjoy.
Kris Kringle is back! Visit Kris Kringle in Baron Bluff for a photo opportunity. Clicks Foto will be onsite to take pictures, but feel free to take your own with your phone. While waiting to see Kris Kringle children will have a chance to write a letter to Santa and hand deliver it.
We will have the music you love spread throughout the park. Activities for the kids and goodies for all will be spread throughout the site to ensure plenty of space for social distancing.

Galaxy of Lights
Location: Huntsville Botanical Garden
Galaxy of Lights is a regional holiday tradition that takes place every November and December at the Huntsville Botanical Garden. With both walking and driving experiences, Galaxy offers guests of all ages the chance to experience the magic, share in the tradition, and make memories together.
Walking Nights: Nov. 14 – Dec. 6 (closed Thanksgiving Day and December 1&2), Dec. 17 – 27 (Closed Christmas Day)
Dog Walking Nights: Every Monday and Tuesday during Walking Nights (November 17 & 18, November 24 & 25, December 22 & 23)
Driving Nights: December 7-16 & December 28-31

Skating in the Park
Location: Big Spring Park at the Huntsville Museum of Art

There are many wonderful holiday traditions in the Rocket City, but if you’re looking for a unique holiday experience, you’ll find it at Skating in the Park.

Tinsel Trail
Location: Big Spring Park

Tinsel Trail is a display of live Christmas trees in Downtown Huntsville’s Big Spring Park. An anticipated 400 trees will decorate the park for the holiday season. Intended to promote community, each tree is sponsored and decorated by a local corporation, group, or family.

The Rocket City Trash Pandas are bringing holiday magic to Toyota Field this winter with the debut of the Trash Pandas Christmas Light Show, a spectacular walk-through experience filled with dazzling displays, festive food and drinks, and family-friendly fun. Running from November 21 through December 28, 2025, the ballpark will shine brighter than ever before.
Guests will enjoy 3D walk-through displays of ornaments, snowmen, trees, spheres, and more, along with GOBO floor projectors casting colorful holiday effects. Multiple lighted walking paths will feature sparkling trees, snowflakes, and candy canes, leading to a massive 30-by-30-foot interactive 3D dance floor. Every 20 minutes, the Toyota Field infield will come alive with a synchronized light show, while a stunning 50-foot tree with shooting snowflakes will illuminate the outfield.

Bridge Street Lights Up!
Date and Time: November 14, 2025 3 – 5:00pm
Location: Bridge Street Town Centre

Join us as we light up Bridge Street at our annual kick-off of the holiday season, Lights Up!, presented by University of North Alabama Foundation.
Lights Up with feature live performances from Alabama Youth Ballet Theatre, Local choir group, giveaways, holiday character and more!
Santa will join at the end of the Ceremony to light our 45 foot Christmas tree for the first time this year and launch our light show on Friday and Saturday evening.

Step into the magic of the EarlyWorks North Pole and experience all the holiday wonder in one place! Start your visit at the North Pole Post Office, where kids can write a heartfelt letter to Santa and drop it in the mailbox – or hand it to him in person! Then, enjoy a personal visit with Santa and capture the moment with a professional photo (or snap a few of your own). Stop by the North Pole Bake Shop to decorate a fresh gingerbread cookie from Peggy Ann’s Bakery, and don’t miss the chance to play in the snow before heading inside for more fun. Finally, swing by the Workshop for hands-on winter science experiments and create a special ornament to take home as a keepsake of your North Pole adventure.
