This might have been more obvious to mothers with little girls, but as a single woman in my 20s, I had no idea how fast this trend was growing until I started seeing it EVERYWHERE.
I will give you four words: Live. Action. Fairytale. Princesses.
Starting with the TV show Once Upon a Time, the phenomena quickly grew with the release of Snow White and the Huntsman, and it is only getting larger with the anticipated releases of Maleficent and Cinderella.
Huntsville Fairytale Ballets
I like to pretend that this kind of thing doesn’t affect me, being a fully grown woman and all.
Imagine my surprise when I noticed two ballet performance posters and was suddenly struck by a wave of school girl-level excitement. There were not one, but two Huntsville fairytale ballets to be excited about.
