It’s finally here! The day the music lovers of Huntsville have all been waiting for!
The first performances to take place in Huntsville’s new Amphitheater have been announced, and tickets are now on sale.
NEW OFFICIAL NAME
The Huntsville Amphitheater officially has a name. Introducing The Orion Amphitheater! It’s a pretty fitting name if you consider the Greek architectural style of the facility, and keeping with other “space” themed names and places.
We’ll have to get used to the amphitheater having a name! Bets on how long it takes the locals to just call it “The O”?
OPENING WEEKEND
The first show at The Orion is not just a show, but a weekend full of fantastic performances! Announcing The First Waltz, May 13 – 15, 2022. Tickets are on sale at theorionhuntsville.com.
According to the official announcement, “The First Waltz [is] a landmark event featuring many of music’s most beloved artists, all of whom have deep ties to the North Alabama region.”

Tickets range in price depending on the day, but there are also weekend package options.
