With the holiday season approaching there’s festivities abound, parties to attend, and evenings out with friends. There’s an array of makeup palettes that focus on top trends for the holiday season. From old Hollywood glamour to vintage ‘chic’ you can create a variety of looks for any special occasion. I’ll show you three great looks you can recreate or simply use as inspiration for your next night out.

Holiday Look 1: Old Hollywood

• Inspiration: Old Hollywood Glamour
• Focus: Soft or smoky eyes, bright lips, and a fresh faced natural finish to the skin.
• To start: Balance skin tone with a good foundation or tinted moisturizer followed by some translucent powder to give skin a smooth finish.
• Follow with a soft powder blush that enhances that natural flush of your skin.
• The idea is placing more emphasis on your eyes and lips.
• Keep it simple: Soft eyes, sleek black eyeliner, and red lips- always a great choice during the holiday season.
• More Impact: Smoky eyes with a bright lip
• Line your eyes with precision using a fine pointed eyeliner brush and an eyeliner gel or a felt tip liner pen to get sharp winged edges at the eye’s corners.
• Finish your look with your choice of a red or other vibrant shaded lip color.

• This look can be as playful as you desire. Just let your imagination flow!
• To add glow: Use a luminizer, highlighter, or

• This soft, flirty look inspires earth tones for eyes with soft pink or pinkish browns for lips.
• Eyes: Start with neutral earth tones for your eyes.
• Gold or pink colors with a soft shimmer offer a great choice to add a pop of color to the center of the eye contour in the crease with a neutral brown adds depth to the overall look.
• Blush: Cream blushes work well for this look. For a natural finish, try a pink or peachy shade.
• Fingers or a brush may be used to apply an array of natural tinted cheek colors from stains, tints, or cream blushes that add a warm flush of color radiating naturally out of the skin.
• Finish with a neutral bronzer to contour, a dab of shimmery lip gloss over your lip color and you’re ready to own the town.
