The first stop on your holiday road trip is just down the road to Birmingham, AL.
Celebrate the season with a Zoolight Safari at the Birmingham Zoo.
In the evening, stroll the zoo decorated with more than one million lights, ice skate through the Trails of Africa and take a ride on the Candy Cane Train.

Nashville
After coming back to the surface, head to Nashville, TN for your last stop.
Gaylord Opryland Resort is famous for their Christmas light displays, huge decorated trees and holiday shows.
This year though they have really outdone themselves. Break out the hats and mittens, it is time for Arctic Plunge Snow Tubing on REAL snow!
