Skating in the Park
Why YES, there is an ice skating rink in Big Spring Park. If you haven’t experienced Skating in the Park, give it a try this year. It helps the Huntsville Museum of Art year round, so go skating today!
Tinsel Trail
Tinsel Trail is the biggest it’s ever been with 250 decorated trees in Big Spring Park. And it’s FREE! Take a stroll and see the lights today.
Seeing Christmas Lights
We pulled a few of our favorite locations to see Christmas lights. Sometimes there’s nothing better than driving through a neighborhood looking at lights though. Twinkle on!
Galaxy of Lights
Huntsville most festive and brightest drive through…..enjoy this stunning light display from your car while supporting the Huntsville Botanical Garden.
Open Christmas Day
Looking for some extra cheer on Christmas day? We’ve got you covered.
- Skating in the Park – open 2 – 10 pm
- Galaxy of Lights – open 5:30 – 9 pm
- Tinsel Trail – always open and free to walk through
- Christmas Card Lane – open to drive by
- Star Wars: The Force Awakens in 70mm IMAX® at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center (museum closed) – 1 pm, 3:45 pm, 6:30 pm
