Haunted Huntsville
Not necessarily “haunted,” but who doesn’t love to spend the day in a cemetery?
Maple Hill Cemetery Stroll
Where: Maple Hill Cemetery
When: October 16, 1:30 – 4:30
Details: One of the largest living history strolls in the nation, with over 75 costumed characters. There will be at least a dozen new characters featured this year. Exhibits will highlight fascinating cemetery history and recent restoration projects. Look for the antique autos in a chronological procession in the southern end of the cemetery.
Known for the possible viewing of an apparition to things that can’t be explained (and just a general spooky feel), go on a Huntsville Ghost Walk!

Details: All walking tours leave from Harrison Brothers Hardware Store promptly at 6 pm on Friday and Saturday nights. Walking tours are $10 for adults, and $5 for kids 12 and under. Reservations are required. Every tour night, they offer three completely different walking tours:
- Old Town Historic District
- Twickenham Historic District
- Haunted Downtown
When you want the haunts but also the booze, you go on a Boos Cruise, implementing pedal power. I guess if you are scared… you pedal faster?

Details: Grab a purple cup of your favorite adult beverage from Green Bus Brewing and pedal through dark alleys and empty streets to learn about Huntsville’s haunted past. We’ll stop at two more locations for more cups of courage before heading out for more ghost stories from guides of the Huntsville Ghost Walk. Are you tough enough for our “spirited” trip into the past? Ages 21 and up.

Haunted Mansion Dinner
Where: Burritt on the Mountain
When: October 18th, 20th & 21st | 6pm – 8pm
Details: Celebrate the season with a SPOOKTACULAR dinner in Dr. Burritt’s mansion. The haunted evening begins with Ghostly White or Vampire Red Wines. Nibble on creepy appetizers while visiting the Fortune Teller.
The dreadfully delicious sit-down dinner follows accompanied by wine and some frightful surprises. Don’t be timid, you may hear a strange noise or have a ghostly visit. It’s all part of the creepy experience only in the haunted mansion.
Haunted Halloween Ghost Hunt
When: October 29, 7pm
Details: Investigate the extremely haunted and mysterious Lowry House. Join TV Personality, Paranormal Investigator & Psychic Medium Lesley Ann Hyde as she leads her Team, the Southern Ghost Girls Tours & Paranormal Investigations, on a Historic Interactive Paranormal Investigation of the House and Grounds where you can join the Investigation! You will be provided equipment and led by the Team!
