The Haunt at Three Caves

The Haunt at Three Caves is taking Halloween to a spook-tacular outdoor setting. Come out and revel under moonshine in a bewitching natural space on Friday, October 25th from 7 – 11 pm.

The Venue

Three Caves – a Land Trust property – is a hidden gem in Huntsville. Just after World War II dynamite was used to blast the ground and expose limestone for excavation. In a creepy twist appropriate for Halloween, the site was designated as a fallout shelter during the Cuban Missile Crisis.

What remains today is a prominent bowl hollowed out next to three large caves. The impressive rock structure reaches nearly 50-60 feet in height and makes an excellent backdrop for a costumed dance party.

The Party

Created in partnership by The Land Trust and Huntsville Young Professionals, this first-time event is going to become one the Valley looks forward to every year.

Parking

Event organizers asked that we give you all a heads up: There is no parking available at or anywhere near the Three Caves because it is a residential area. If you park on the street anywhere near Three Caves your car will be towed.

The good news is you get FREE parking in the Clinton Street parking garage the night of the event. Be sure to print out your ticket receipt and give it to the parking garage attendant the night of the event.

After parking you’ll check in and receive your wrist band and drink tickets. Then The Haunt buses will transport you to Three Caves. Beginning at 9 pm buses will return downtown until 11:45 pm.

At the end of the night you have the option to continue the party with bus stops at participating bars:

• Sammy T’s
• Humphrey’s
• Jefferson Street Pub
• Amendment XXI

Tickets

A limited amount of tickets are available for The Haunt at Three Caves. Patrons are encouraged to purchase online before October 25 as they expected this event to sell out. Individual tickets are available as well as discounted ticket packages:

• Count Dracula (individual): $15, includes 1 admission; 1 drink ticket
• Munsters (Couple): $40; includes 2 admissions; 6 drink tickets
• Ghostbusters: (Group): $80; includes 4 admissions; 12 drink tickets

This is a rain or shine event and all ticket sales are final. The Haunt at Three Caves is presented in partnership by Huntsville Young Professionals, the Land Trust of North Alabama, and Landers McLarty Subaru.
