Sci-Quest Pumpkin Carving Contest
- Date and Time: Saturday, October 19th from 8am – 6pm
- Location: Sci-Quest

Feeling competitive? Then come out to Sci-Quest, Hands on Science Center for their 1st Pumpkin Carving Contest! There will be four categories: Kids Painting Competition (ages 12 and under), Family, Amateur, and Professional Carving Competition.
Bootanica
- Date and Time: Saturday, October 26, 2013, 10am – 2pm
- Location: Huntsville Botanical Garden

This fun filled spook-tacular day is perfect for everyone! Join Huntsville Botanical Garden for games and activities, a Parade of Costumes, hay rides, hula hoop contests, pumpkin painting, and more!
Spooktacular Science Halloween Party
- Dates and Times: Friday, October 25th from 6 – 9pm AND Saturday, October 26th from 3 – 6pm
- Location: Sci-Quest
- Cost:$7 members/ $10 non-members in advance | $10 members/ $12 non-member at the door

Join Sci-Quest the annual Spooktacular Science Halloween Party for all ages! Watch thrilling demonstrations, visit the different Halloween activity stations and catch the popular Mystery Science Show.
Family Fright Nights
- Date and Time: Friday, October 25th from 6 – 9pm AND Saturday, October 26th from 6 – 9pm
- Location: Historic Lowery House
- Cost: $10 adults and $5.00 kids 10 and under

Spooktacular 5K & Monster Mile
- Date and Time: Saturday, October 26th 7 – 10am
- Location: Von Braun Center

Huntsville’s Fleet Feet Sports invites you to join runners, walkers, ghosts, and goblins of all ages at the Spooktacular 5K Run and Monster Mile. Get crafty and participate in the costume contest or, better yet, compete in costume!
5th annual Masquerade Ball
- Date and Time: Saturday, October 26th from 8pm – 12am
- Location: Huntsville/ Madison County Main Public Library
- Cost: $10 in advance/ $15 at the door

Calling all heroes and villains – actually teens in middle and high school. Come to the Main Library for the fifth annual Masquerade Ball, a celebration of Cosplay.
A Very Hairy Howl-o-ween
- Date and Time: Sunday, October 27th from 2 – 4pm
- Location: The Commons, 55+ Active Adult Community
- Cost: FREE

Join The Commons and dress your pooch up to enter a best-dressed costume contest and dog parade, and have your pup’s photo taken in our fall-themed photo booth. Bring the whole family down for the fun festivities!
The A'”Maze”-ing OZ

Come for a night of amazing fun with an Oz-theme maze (non-scary), bonfire with hot dogs & marshmallow roasts, candy, games & more! Note: this event is geared towards families with elementary schooled aged children.
Halloween on Main
- Date and Time: Thursday, October 31st from 5 – 10pm
- Location: Main Street, Madison, AL- Moved inside to Dublin Park- trick-or-treating, games and activities in the gymnasium; Haunted House in meeting rooms

Harry’s Hotter at Twilight
- Date and Time: Thursday, October 31st from 5 – 7pm
- Location: Huntsville High School
- Cost: $10; $5 for those dressed in a costume

The Haunt at 3 Caves
