We love events in downtown Huntsville such as the food truck rallies and the recent Mardi Gras parade, but you don’t always need a big event to get outside and enjoy this city.
With the days getting longer and warmer weather (hopefully) around the corner, we encourage you to get outside and see the beauty you can find in our city.
Get Outside, Explore Huntsville
It’s no secret we like car spotting (you’ll find several over on Eat Huntsville), and we particularly get excited when we spot something vintage. It’s an added bonus when it has a cool backdrop.
The Clinton Row Color Walk is one of our favorite spots for art in downtown Huntsville as it features many of Huntsville’s talented artists.
With three main historic districts downtown, it’s not hard to find beautiful homes with tons of character. We love the landscaping and the trees framing this stunning Old Town home.
If you look real hard you might even find some of Huntsville’s newest art! This area is a work in progress, but we hope to soon see more art like this downtown.
If you take a walk through the historic districts you are sure to find lots of neighborhood kitties!
We love this tiny piece of art outside of AM Booth’s Lumberyard. It’s easy to overlook, so make it a point to check it out next time.
Who says exploring downtown Huntsville has to be done during the day?
Take a stroll through Big Spring Park after dinner and see how the city lights up at night.
