2. Holiday Concert by the Huntsville Concert Band
December 3, 7 pm
You are invited to the Huntsville Concert Band’s annual holiday concert, A Christmas Celebration, on Tuesday, December 3, at 7:00 PM at Latham United Method Church. Celebrate with selections that include traditional favorites and lighter tunes for all ages.

4. Christkindlmarket Market

Inspired by the Chistkindlemarkts in Germany, this holiday season we welcome you and your family to enjoy a traditional German American Christmas Market here in Huntsville.
5. Remy Neal’s Ugly Sweater Party
December 7, 7 pm
Show up and show out in your most Outrageous Sweater, or your silliest onesie, as we celebrate the holiday season and help First Stop, Inc.
6. Invasion of the Nerdy Noel
December 8, 12 pm
Shopping, craft beers, and geekery at Straight To Ale. This year, and all the nerdy vendors are excited to bring you even more sci-fi, comic, anime, fantasy, and pop culture goodies to buy for yourself and the nerds you love!
7. Fleet Feet Christmas Light Fun Run
December 12, 6 pm
Create a new holiday tradition – come join us for a 4 mile run through Horseshoe Trail to see the lights. All paces welcome!
8. Literary Trails with Santa
December 13, 12 pm
Enjoy one of our favorite books and picture time with special guest reader Santa Claus at Literary Trails – Children’s Book and Exploring Club on December 13 at Hays Nature Preserve. Choose the 12pm or 1pm session
9. Madison’s “Polar Express” Christmas Parade
December 14, 5:30 pm
The Parade route will begin at Plaza Drive and Hughes Road and will continue to downtown Madison. There will be an Awards Ceremony following the parade on Front Street at the Gazebo. The Madison Rotary Club will be at the Roundhouse serving Hot Chocolate and Cookies.
10. 9th Annual Christmas Concert at the Library
December 14, 6:30 pm
Join Rocket City Jazz Orchestra for our 9th annual Christmas concert. Doors open at 5:45pm, show begins at 6:30pm. This is a family friendly event with light refreshments and crafts for kids.
11. Grinch Gala Holiday Party
December 19, 4 pm
The Youth Services Department is hosting a Holiday Party in the Downtown Huntsville Library Auditorium to celebrate our favorite green holiday villain. We’ll watch The Grinch (2018, rated PG), makes crafts, and warm ourselves with some delicious hot chocolate!
12. Winter Solstice Artists Market
December 21, 10 am
This year The Barking Dog Arts will be partnering with Lowe Mill to extend out the Winter Solstice Market to the entire second floor! They will have more vendors in the hallway than ever before, and amazingly talented studio artists will have lots to do in their studios.
13. Rocket City Trombone Christmas Concert
December 21, 6 pm
Bone Yard Music, LLC is hosting the Rocket City Trombone Christmas Concert. This event is held to promote and encourage the fellowship and musicianship of slide trombone players through the performance of Christmas music.
14. The Living Christmas Tree
December 19 – 22
First Baptist Church will present the annual presentation of the Living Christmas Tree: A Huntsville Christmas Tradition. It’s free to attend, but you have to get tickets in advance.
15. Grand Menorah Lighting
December 26, 4pm
Enjoy a grand Menorah lighting, hot latkes, street performers, face painting and more!
