Fleet Feet Sport’s Next Steps 
Wanna run a 10K? Fleet Feet Sport’s Next Steps Program is designed for people who want to move up to the 10K distance (6.2 miles) after achieving the 5k. The program is geared toward moderately active runners, but welcomes anyone who has already accomplished the 5k distance.
- Prerequisite: Have completed the 5K distance
- Kickoff: March 4, first training run: March 8
- Training runs: Wednesdays at 6 p.m. at Fleet Feet and Saturdays in surrounding areas
- Goal Race: Mercedes-Benz Cotton Row Run 10K on May 26
- Price: $100
Priceville No Boundaries 5K Training Program 
One of the most popular running programs is No Boundaries 5K Training Program, a “couch to 5K” 3.1-mile walk/run training program designed for people who are currently inactive or new to walking and running. The program is structured to help you cross the finish line in 10 weeks and features coaches and training tips. You must be at least 14 years of age to participate.
- Kickoff: March 17, 2014 at 7 p.m. at Fleet Feet Sports
- First training run: March 24, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. at Veteran’s Park
- Goal race: PCRA 5K, May 31
- Training Times and location: Mondays at 6:30 p.m., alternate runs Thursday 6:30 p.m., Veteran’s Park on Highway 67S
- Price: $95
Fleet Feet’s Speed Work 
Want to run fast? Fleet Feet’s Speed Work training provides you an opportunity to incorporate speed work into your training schedule. This program is for participants at all levels looking to increase their speed and improve their times. Need to be at least 14.
- Kickoff and first training: March 17, 2014 at 7p.m.
- Location/time: Grissom track, Fleet Feet Sports and surrounding areas at 6 p.m. every Monday
- Price: $100
Tri 201 Training Program
Wanna do an Olympic tri? The Tri 201 Training Program is geared toward athletes who are trying to complete their first Olympic distance triathlon or are looking to improve their current Olympic distance training. The distances are 1500 meter swim, 40k bike and a 10k run.
- Prerequisite: Graduate of 2013’s Tri 101 program or have completed a sprint triathlon and can run a 5k, swim freestyle stroke for 400 yards continuously and bike 10 miles.
- Kickoff: March 18, 2014 at 7 p.m.
- Training times: Mondays at 6 p.m. starting March 24 at various locations
- Goal race: Renaissance Man, Florence
- Price: $175
Triathlon 101 Program 
Wanna do your first triathlon? The Tri 101 Program is an introductory course to triathlons, helping beginning participants complete a sprint triathlon in 16 weeks. It will be a cross-training program developed to help you finish a 400 meter swim, 7-mile bike ride and a 5K run. You must be at least 16 years of age to register and limited to 50 participants.
- Kickoff: April 22, 2014 at 7 p.m.
- Training times: Tuesdays at 6 p.m. beginning April 29 at Fleet Feet and other areas around town. Also, four Saturday swim sessions.
- Goal race: Huntsville Sprint Triathlon on August 16, 2014
- Price: $150
Tri 201 Advanced Training Program
The Tri 201 Advanced Training Program is geared toward athletes that are trying to advanced their Olympic distance abilities. The distances will be 1500 meter swim, 40k bike and a 10k run.
- Prerequisite: Tri 201 or have completed an Olympic Distance Tri in 2014
- Program kickoff/training: July 14, 2014 at 6 p.m. at Fleet Feet Sports and Mondays at 6 p.m. after that at various locations
- Goal race: Rocketman, August 24, 2014
- Price: $100
