I never met a slice of pie that I didn’t want to get to know on a more intimate level.
To celebrate National Pie Day (January 23, 2016), I pulled a list of my favorite pies in Huntsville to share with you.
I may have even had to taste test just to make sure. You know, “research”.

My Favorite Pie in Huntsville
1. Gibson’s Bar-B-Q Chess Pie
I’m a huge fan of chess pie, as a true Southern should be. Gibson’s Bar-B-Q does not disappoint and it’s one of those things I can rely on in life. A good slice of chess pie!
2. Anaheim Chili Peanut Butter Pie
You can find me at Anaheim Chili once a week at a minimum. I’m a loyal regular! And sometimes, I want to to finish my meal with their peanut butter pie. It’s perfect every time.
3. Commerce Kitchen Bourbon Chocolate Pecan Pie
Commerce Kitchen is one of my favorite lunch spots for good food in a fantastic atmosphere that isn’t too pricey. Splurge with coffee and their chocolate pecan pie for dessert and HELLO! It’s been a good meal.
Will you celebrate National Pie Day with a slice?
What is your favorite slice of pie in town?
Tell, so I can go and order it right away.

Amy is the proud and busy momma of two boys, who keep things loud and fun. For fun she skateboards, rides her scooter, and kayaks (though sadly not at the same time!).
I like the Apple Pies at Little Paul’s Barbque across the HSV Hospital ER and also from The Chuckwagon Barbque on Madison Blvd in Madison. Both are good and also 2 different types of Apple Pie.
Big fan of apple pie (and bar-b-que)! I will check them out. Thank you!!
Pecan pie at New Market BBQ. The Key Lime at Anaheim Chili is good, too. And all the pie at Walton’s Southern Table!
I have yet to try Walton’s Southern Table. It’s on my list! Thank you!
