This Friday night, November 2nd, Burritt on the Mountain is going to be hoppin’ with all kinds of fun at the first Burritt Bash at Baron Bluff, their newest venue.
Food and Fun

The timing couldn’t be more perfect for the Burritt Bash at Baron Bluff. With the temperatures taking a huge nose dive, I can think of nothing better than a night in front of the fireplace, like the huge new one at Baron Bluff! And you can bet it will be roaring Friday Night.
But there is much more than a roaring fire to entice you up the mountain this Friday night?
For those of you who like to bust a move, Cousin Boogie will be playing, which probably means the fireplace will be a bit deserted….
If you’re more athletically inclined, then you can try your luck (or skill) at a game or two of cornhole and horseshoes. Just don’t challenge me. You will lose. Because I’m obviously the reigning champ of all things sportsy.
The View
If you’re excited (and you should be), then sit down! Because I haven’t even told you about the best part of the event! I’m a tease I know… But I do so love to build up the excitement.

And who could blame me? When you have the spectacular views of Huntsville at sunset that Burritt does? And you too can experience them if you come to this fun filled evening Friday night.
The Chow
Since this event occurs around dinner time, you can expect the fine folks at Burritt are going to make sure you get some tasty food! The night’s menu is catered by Cyn Shea’s, one of my personal favorites! You may have tasted Cyn Shea’s yumminess from her local restaurant Shea’s Express.
Here’s what Cyn Shea’s is preparing for Friday night:
- Their award winning Chili
- White House Chili
- Vegetarian Chili too
- Jalapeño and while kernel cornbread
Plus make your own s’mores!!! Clearly that is what I’m most excited about. I mean s’mores are the only reason I would ever go camping. And if you go camping without s’mores I do think something is wrong with you, but back to Friday night.

Your ticket price also includes one drink ticket, which can be used for beer or wine. And the folks at Burritt are bringing in some local brews for this event instead of the traditional Bud Light fare. And yes your drink tickets will work for these local brews. Good call Burritt! Love it when organizations support our local businesses!
My sources tell me that there will be some super special (and extra fancy) Bourbon Burrittini’s and Bourbon cocktails made just for this event that are tres delish! And my connections would never let me down. Especially about something as terribly important as cocktails! I mean c’mon now.
Get your tickets NOW! You can buy them online until end of day on Tuesday, October 30th. Questions? Call Burritt at 256-536-2882.
