For context, the definition of a ‘gastronaut’ is someone with a keen appreciation for food. Often, their sole focus is narrowly directed to the enjoyment of fine food. Garry is the epitome of this. He lives a healthy lifestyle, but is always looking to indulge on an amazing meal and a cocktail or two. There’s no way I could speak on Big Spoon Creamery without mentioning their ‘Banana Split’. This take on the classic sundae is like nothing I’ve ever seen before. Two scoops of vanilla bean, bruleed banana, pineapple passion fruit compote, graham crumb and vanilla whipped cream…left me way more than impressed. This sundae deserves awards!
