2015 was a great year for us and we hope it was a great year for you as well.
Here are a few of our Best Blogs of 2015
January –
This was a big month for sharing out some awesome blog posts. We were busy little bees in January.
- We introduced our Huntsville Newcomer’s Guide!
- Gave a thrilling challenge list of 100 Things to Eat in 2015.
- We did a super fun ABC’s of Huntsville where we went from A- art to Z- zoo.
- Give me an H. Give me a U. Give me a N….you get the picture. We cheered for Huntsville while sharing 6 Things Huntsville Does Better Than the Rest of Alabama.
February –
February was the month that we went looking for great food in all the dive places in this Part 1 of Exploring Local Dives With Huntsville Eats. It was so popular, we did a Part 2 in April.
March –
In March we went exploring for some Cool Things You Never Noticed in Huntsville. They are pretty cool.
April –
Warmer weather got us outside!
- Our guest blogger with the Land Trust gave us a Hike on a Wonderful Wildlife Trail.
- Did you know Huntsville has 3 Historic Homes You Can Tour? You do now (and get to peek inside)!
May –
May was a fun month, with perfect weather and so much potential.
- Downtown Huntsville Parking Hacks anyone? We even shared our top secret parking spot!
- We became hometown tourists with 9 Touristy Things in Huntsville You Should do at Least Once.
- Huntsville Eats took us on some Dining Destinations.
- And… 3 words: ZOMBIE SURVIVAL GUIDE.
June –
Even though June will be chock full of warm weather activities that won’t apply to our current weather situation at all, it’s still nice to look back on those warm, sunny days.
- Did you do any of these 57 Things to do When it’s 100 Degrees?
- Taking a ghost walk is a great way to spend a summer weekend evening. We gave you a sneak peek with our Frightfully Fun Tales You May Hear on a Huntsville Ghost Walk.
- Super Cheap Date Ideas was a way to get you out the door without denting your wallet.
July –
July was all about the Downtown Huntsville Potty Hacks. There is a twist, but you have to read it to find out.
- We also went looking for a DIY outlet and came across these Pinteresty Classes right here in Huntsville.
August –
We were hungry in August! That’s not unusual. Neither is biking about town!
- These are but a few of the great places in Huntsville that make it Worth Cheating on Your Diet.
- The Cake Rundown. It is exactly what it sounds like.
- Reason to Bike the Tennessee Valley is a pretty compelling blog on the merits of bike riding.
September –
We stayed hungry in September, among other things.
- Huntsville Loves Pho and Where to Get It. This was important, because we love our pho and want to KNOW!.
- Giving back is a theme for Our Valley Events. We explored Fun Ways To Give (Without Writing a Big Check).
October –
The arrival of fall was welcome. It is, after all, the most perfect time of year.
- The selfie is strong with this one – Places to Take Your Perfect Fall Selfie.
- We seem to stay hungry around here, don’t we? But you know what….It’s Great to be a Foodie in Huntsville.
November –
November was the debut of our Holiday Guide 2015.
December –
The rest of the year can be summed up nicely in our Holiday Quick Reference Guide (a compilation in and of itself).
It is our hope that you had a fantastic 2015 and that 2016 will be even better. We will keep doing what we do so well and being your resource for staying in-the-know in Huntsville and the Tennessee Valley.
