Are you a crafty sort? Do you spend hours on Pintrest looking at DIY projects? Looking for a fun ladies night out? Or are you like me? Completely inept at all things crafty but you TOTALLY think you should be able to do all those projects on Pintrest. (Seriously some of those boards should be banned! They LOOK sooo easy… 5 hours & lots of screaming later. Well let’s not get into that story. I’m sure you can imagine.)
Thankfully, you don’t have to suffer/ scream at your computer like I did. The ladies of Saucy Duo Crafts are here to help! With their series of Wednesday night workshops, these talented ladies will have you and your clan ready for this spooky holiday-and more!

The Concept
Saucy Duo Crafts hosts two different workshops, one for moms and tots and one for us grown up gals. With each workshop the snacks or beverages are chosen for the audience appropriately. Crafts & Cookies: For Mommy & Me. Mom and kid create crafts while the kids snack on a cookie. Crafts & Cocktails: For a Girl’s Night Out. Ladies create crafts while enjoying a beverage of their choice. Since Halloween is rapidly approaching, October’s crafts will all be Halloween themed.
Previous projects include:
- Palm tree painted martini glasses
- Sweet Home Alabama glossy globe
- Summer themed photo box and plaque
- Wine bottle oil candles
- Cross wine bottle
- Magazine paper cross

About the Crafters
Saucy Duo Crafts founders, Samantha and Mary, are passionate about crafting. They met in the early 1990′s while working on a community theatre play. The play was a hit and they’ve been friends ever since!
Here’s what the gals think about crafting:
“Saving money by making things myself is like a new religion for me. And Sam has inspired and motivated me to try new things. I want to share our experiences and ideas with others who are new to crafting or lifelong crafters.” -Mary
”Crafting is a way of life for me, and as a frugal, miserly type, it has also helped me save money. Usually when I go to a craft show, or even a mall, I pass by things that are very attractive saying, ‘I can make that for 1/2 the price.’ That is usually true, so there is no reason why we all can’t save a few bucks, entertain ourselves and get something useful out of the whole affair by crafting. That is my motivation.” -Sam
