Kayakers, Mountain Bikers & Disc Golfers – OH MY!
This weekend March 16-18, the Alabama Mountain Games, the annual outdoor games and musical festival, will be held at Boogie Bottoms in Cleveland, Alabama! With a live music stage, campgrounds, a children’s play area, and some of the best outdoor competitions, this weekend-long event is perfect for the solo outdoor hippie, the backpacking family of four, and even the cautious day hiker!

Check out Born Wild Ministries ladies-only hike up at Monte Sano! The hike will explore McKay Hollow and down to the Natural Well. The 5-mile moderate hike will also have a devotional. The hike starts at 8 a.m.. No cost – donations welcome. Get details for the Women’s St. Patrick’s Day Hike.

If you’ve been at the indoor climbing gym at Athletic Club Alabama during those cold, rainy days, you are well-prepared. Owned by the Southeastern Climbing Coalition, this popular climbing area has easy, moderate and difficult routes with plenty of sport and trad lines to send as hard as you’d like!to take it to the real rocks! With our days longer and sunlight until 7 p.m., Yellow Bluff is just a quick 20-mile drive outside of the city!
