MOMMY!!! MOM! MOTHER!
If you can relate to any of those titles then you can relate to Motherhood the Musical. You may even relate more than you care to admit. From songs about Costco to incontinence Sue Fabisch’s original musical will strike a familiar chord with anyone who has experienced “the good, the bad…and the laundry” of motherhood.
The 90 uninterrupted (no intermission) minutes of 20+ songs is a rollercoaster of emotions, cliches and reality. Nothing is left out and nothing is sacred… which speaks true of motherhood.
Huntsville theatre goers will have a full month of opportunities to see this wonderful show brought to life by a strong ensemble cast. Amy, a soon-to-be mom, is on the receiving end of a lovely babyshower and some not so lovely mommy realities from three neighborhood moms: Barb, a stay-at-home mother of five; Brooke, a lawyer who barely sees her family; and Tasha, a divorced single parent of two. Together, these four sing their way through the fun, stressful, can’t-make-this-stuff-up truths of motherhood.
Produced by GFour Productions, the group responsible for the successful hit play Menopause the Musical, Motherhood the Musical is onstage at the beautiful Merrimack Hall through April 7th. If you have not been to a show at Merrimack Hall you are missing out on one of the best venues in Huntsville. Even if motherhood is not your cup of tea Merrimack’s season will have something for you AND SO DO WE! Merrimack Hall has given us a pair of tickets to Motherhood the Musical to give to one of our FABULOUS readers!
