There is a new business on the scene and they are prepped and ready to create connections, exciting music events, and spread good vibes.
Artemis Music Productions (AMP)

Alli Johnson grew up in a musical family which ended up being the driving force for her passion for music.
“From bluegrass to rock ’n roll, the roots were planted and I’ve been thankful to be able to extend that into my own endevors. Huntsville has been my home since 2008 and leading up to that move, I would go out and listen to our local ledgends like Dave Anderson, Mike Roberts, Jim Cavender, and Microwave Dave. All amazing musicians and humans that I’m blessed to call friends today. I play in two groups: Seeking Babylon (acoustic trio) and Christy & Alli (acoustic duo), and I am also the Executive Producer of Women in Music HSV.”
AMP Origins and Goal
Artemis Music Productions started with a vision and a spark during Women in Music. Alli’s involvement with WiM led her to fall in love with shining a light on local women with amazing musical talent.
After working through the details and chatting with friends, family, and Music Officer Matt Mandrella, Artemis was born. Now her dream of spotlighting not only local female talent, but all talent on main stages across the city is becoming a reality.
At Artemis Music Productions, the mission is to connect artists, organizations, events, and venues in Huntsville, AL, and throughout the southeast. They are leveraging thier extensive experience and professional networks to help clients navigate obstacles and expand and diversify the music scene.

AMP & the Local Music Scene
Alli Johnson knows we are in an exciting place and time! We have a diverse and vibrant music community waiting to be connected.
“We have an extensive history, a wide talent pool, and huge potential for growth. I love what the Orion brings in its ability to house large local events and attract big name artists. Growth like that means opportunity for new artists. For example, Huntsville City FC is partnering with Artemis to provide pregame music entertainment and the national anthem sung by local talent.”
How can the community help the local music scene? Showing up is key! Supporting live shows in person is one of the best ways to contribute. On top of that, you can always follow artists on social media and share their events. You can buy their music and merch and stream them on music platforms. All of these things help with visibility and hopefully puts a little extra change in their pockets for things like equipment and booking studio time.

AMP Partnerships
There are so many great organizations and pioneers in our community. Artemis Music Production is already working with some great partners: Arts Huntsville, Huntsville City FC, Thrive Alabama, Huntsville Music Office, and Ryan Felton with R&B Vibes.
Networking is such a powerful tool and it goes a long way. The more people know about Artemis and the mission behind it, the better! They are set to help with your music needs for all types of events.
