Chocolate has always been a staple in my life. Starting as a young kid, my family would always have different chocolates ready for guests, especially during the holidays. We have a particular sweet spot for dark chocolate! Here are a few local spots to find some delicious uses of dark chocolate.

If you have never been to this Huntsville treasure, you are missing out. They also have some of the best hot chocolate I’ve ever had. Some of their dark chocolate options include:
Sexyback
Salted caramel in a dark chocolate shell.

They are best known for their homemade caramel apples and strawberries. Both of those come in dark chocolate and the apples also have a sea salt option!
They also have a large selection of dark chocolate candies.
L’Etoile Patisserie

Huntsville’s French Bakery and Café. This is a fairly new spot in Downtown Huntsville. I had never really tried French pastries and breads before going here. Now it seems that I am going weekly if not twice a week and I end up getting something new and intriguing every time. Try these items:
Pain au Chocolat beautiful when served warm
Tarte au Chocolat with a shortcrust pastry is incredibly decadent
Keep an eye on their socials to see what will be coming each week!

This is exactly what it says. A Chocolate Gallery! This South Huntsville staple is a wonderful place to visit and try out everything they have to offer from the chocolate strawberries to the full-size cakes!
