This Alabama weather has us scratching our heads as usual. Nevertheless… winter has arrived, and we are determined to make winter 2020 in Huntsville fun – cooperative weather is optional.
#1 – Go to the new Mars Music Hall
The brand new Mars Music Hall is opened on January 3, 2020 with a sold out Jason Isbell show. But no other shows are sold out, and they have acts scheduled all the way through April. Go to a show and check out the new venue!
Just search “Mars Music Hall” on our calendar to find the one!

A hike with no snakes, mosquitos, gnats or stifling humidity? That sounds too good to be true, but it’s not at all… if you hike in the winter that is.
Hiking one of the well-worn Land Trust Trails, hitting up Monte Sano or (one of our favorites) the Green Mountain Nature Trail is an excellent way to enjoy nature without breaking a sweat!
