Arts Huntsville is rolling out a Rocket City Renaissance October 18-27 in the form of Huntsville Arts Week! HSV Arts Week is a 10-day celebration of the creative side of the city, with more than 20 organizations hosting over 40 events!
We’re talking a temporary art installation, one-time events, giveaways, behind-the-scenes sneak peeks and much more. Curious? We’ve got you!
Here are five events coming your way as part of Huntsville Arts Week:

Aqueous
Remember that public art installation we mentioned? Aqueous by Artist Jen Lewin is lighting up Big Spring Park East all 10 days of Huntsville Arts Week! The installation reflects the sky and its natural surroundings during the day, and at night the Aqueous glows and responds to human interaction. Aqueous events will be promoted on artshuntsville.org

Huntsville Symphony Orchestra Giveaways
Who doesn’t love free stuff!? The Huntsville Symphony Orchestra (HSO) will giveaway a select number of tickets to lucky winners on their Facebook page during Huntsville Arts Week.

Cinderella, by Marty Duhatschek- Fantasy Playhouse
Fire up your pumpkin and head to the Fantasy Playhouse production of Cinderella, by Marty Duhatschek! You’re guaranteed to have a ball. Glass slippers and helpful rodents not included in ticket purchase. Tickets are on sale now; the show runs Oct 18-20.

Burritt’s Bicentennial Arts Bash
The state of Alabama is living its best life and celebrating its birthday ALL YEAR LONG. After all, it’s not every day that a state turns 200. Burritt is celebrating with Alabama-themed crafts, folk art displays, and even trivia with prizes! The Bicentennial Arts Bash is scheduled for October 19 and included in regular admission.

LIT Festival hosted by Downtown Huntsville, Inc. and Arts Huntsville
The Light Innovation & Technology Festival (LIT) is back October 18-19 in Downtown Huntsville! Dance parties, light-inspired activities, and public art exhibits- the list of fun goes on!
