UCP’s 18th Annual An Irish Evening
- When: Friday, March 11
- Where: Huntsville Depot
- Cost: $25
- Event Information
This annual event benefits United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) of Huntsville and will feature Irish-themed and international food and beverage samples from local vendors, live music by Bourbon & Shamrocks, fun and games with the Irish Society of North Alabama, a performance by the Fitness Arts Center Irish step dancers, an extensive silent auction, dance tunes with Metropolitan DJ, and more! Must wear green!!
Keg’s N Eggs St. Patrick’s Celebration
- When: Saturday, March 12, TIME CHANGE – 10 am

Quickly becoming a St. Patrick’s tradition with $5 all you can eat breakfast and various drink specials including Green Beer!
St. Patrick’s Day Parade
- When: Saturday, March 12, 11:30 am – 1:30 pm
- Where: Downtown Huntsville

Head to Downtown Huntsville for the FREE 39th Annual Ellen McAnelly Memorial St. Patrick’s Day Parade! Arrive early to pick a good viewing spot.
4th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Party
- When: Saturday, March 12, 2 – 11 pm
- Where: Straight to Ale
- Cost: Free
- Event Information
Head back to the brewery after the Parade for a FREE day of fun at Straight to Ale! This is a family friendly event, with live music and traditional Irish Dancers. Food Trucks: Food Fighters Bustaurant with a special Irish menu and IceWorks with shaved ice and funnel cakes.
St. Patrick’s Day Party & Tasting
- When: Saturday, March 12, 1 – 10 pm
- Where: Yellowhammer Brewing
- Event Information
After the parade ends in Downtown Huntsville, Yellowhammer will tap five firkins of stout and have old timey fiddlers of Musgrove Sessions in the new taproom. Later that night, My Brother The Bear of Cincinatti will take the stage.
Madison St. Patrick’s Day Family Parade and Pet Walk
- When: Sunday, March 13, 2 – 4 pm
- Where: Discovery Middle School
- Cost: Free
- Event Information
Madison’s Annual St. Patrick’s Day Family Parade and Pet Walk will start at Discovery Middle School and will cover three miles. Participation is open to the public and Irish dress will add to the festive atmosphere. Non-perishable food items will be collected, rain or shine, to support the St. Vincent de Paul food bank and The Madison Animal Rescue Foundation.
Shamrock Shindig for Kids
- When: Thursday, March 17, 11 am – 1 pm
- Where: Huntsville Botanical Garden
- Cost: $3 for members, $3 plus Garden admission for non-members

Bring your little leprechauns to look for hidden shamrocks, some with magically awesome prizes, and enjoy green lemonade, goodies, crafts and face painting for all the wee ones.
