There are so many ways to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day 2020 in Huntsville! Though we tend to be a little more “Go for Launch!” than “Erin Go Bragh!”; the Rocket City sure knows how to kick-off a proper St. Patrick’s Day celebration and that’s with a parade.
Slainte, Y’all!
Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day 2020 in Huntsville
St. Patrick’s Day Parade – Canceled
The 43rd Annual Ellen McAnnelly Memorial St. Patrick’s Day Parade will take place on March 14, 2020 starting at 11:00 a.m. It’s a free community event, sponsored by Straight to Ale Brewing. Enjoy the parade as a spectator or register to join in the fun. (canceled event)

Here’s a place we’ll speculate you might like to spectate from.
The Martin Bar & Bistro
The Martin Bar & Bistro, just a block off the parade route will have a birds-eye view of downtown goings-on at their St. Patrick’s Day celebration!
Doors will open at 9:00 a.m. and they’ll be serving $2.00 Green Beer, $4.00 Jameson Irish Whiskey, $5.00 Irish Car Bombs, and $5.00 Corn Beef and Cabbage.

Just because the parade is over, doesn’t mean the fun is!
Straight to Ale
Afterwards, make your way over to Campus No. 805 where you can join in the fun at Straight to Ale Brewing, home of the official parade after-party.
They’ll have live Irish music by the Maple Hill Band and The Whiskey River Kings in the Biergarten as well as Irish dancers and special release brews!
Not done yet, keep the party going with live music from the Pine Hill Haints, performing a mix of everything from rockabilly to Celtic music, starting in the Straight to Ale Speakeasy at 8:00 p.m.
Plus, there will be special cocktails made with Shelta Cavern Spirits, Irish menu items from Ale’s Kitchen, and, of course, your favorite Straight to Ale Brews.

Plus they’ve also got two great bands lined up for the day.

Stovehouse
The Stovehouse doesn’t want you to leave them out of the post-parade St. Patrick’s Day merriment.
At 4:00 p.m. they’ll kick off the day with Sandy River Ramblers & continue with the Irish big-band Cotton and Clover.
Of course, drinks will be flowing and there will be food offerings a plenty.
