There’s nothing funnier than live comedy; and face it, we can all use a good laugh these days. You know laughing is good exercise? I read that it gives you as good a work out for your abs as sit ups. Well maybe that’s an exaggeration, but I know you can wake up sore from laughing the day before. Maybe that’s just how out of shape I am.

Can You Handle This Humor?!

Anyway, for me the best comedy is when life’s inconsistencies are pointed out. When stupid is called out and a spotlight shows all the layers of dumb.

So I just have to tell you that this weekend, this Friday, to be exact, only 300 PEOPLE  will get to see humor

Yep, the Epic Comedy Hour (though it’s actually 3 hours) returns to the Flying Monkey Theater. The line up features comedians from Birmingham, Chicago, Atlanta and of course, some of Huntsville’s favorites.

Seriously, for only $5 you and 299 of your closest friends will be in for the gut laughs you really need. Leave the kids at home for this one, though…definitely rated R. It’s a sell out event, so get there early…tickets are available only at the door. You may be sore in the morning…but that’s none of our business.
