Arts Huntsville has done an amazing job promoting public art.
Everyone should experience the “Secret Art Trail” at least once! There are lots of hidden pieces in Downtown Huntsville.
8. Give Back
Wanting to give back to the community? Donate your time and volunteer! Here is our list of Non-Profit Partners, who would love to get you set up with the perfect project.
9. Experiment with Flavors
Sign up for a cooking class at The Boot Pizzeria. Classes are offered throughout the year for things like homemade ravioli and holiday cookie decorating.
10. Pamper Yourself
2020 is the year of you! Don’t forget to pamper yourself a little.
Try a “stay-cation” and grab a hotel room – the AC Hotel has an amazing view of Big Spring Park!
11. Cruise at Sunset
Blevins Bicycle Company hosts a speedway sunset cruise from March to September each year. It’s a great ride for new cyclists and for experienced cyclists looking for an enjoyable social ride.

15. Float Away
Get out on the water!
Rent kayaks from North Alabama Canoe and Kayak or Brown Bear. You can even try paddle boarding with Forrest Paddle Boarding.

Burritt on the Mountain offers Folk School courses all year long, each focused on a different craft or skill.

17. Buy Something Handmade
Crafters and makers! Find handcrafted, handmade items at Lowe Mill, North East Alabama Craftsmen’s Association Craft Shows, and Hunt + Gather Makers Market.
18. See a Movie in Style
Take a break from Netflix and watch a movie somewhere new!
The Camp, Huntsville Botanical Garden, and the South Huntsville Main Business Association host epic movie nights during the year.
19. Hike Somewhere New
There are so many trails to choose from! Check out the Greenways, Monte Sano State Park, or any of the Land Trust Trails.
